Foundations of Leadership is a one month module which provides an Introduction to Bible Doctrine, Spirit-led Leadership, and Self-awareness. Foundations is perfect for emerging leaders, church Elders, and ministry teams.
Foundations of Leadership is the entry point to the rest of the LEAD program modules so if you are planning to continue on in your leadership development this is the place to begin!

This module provides a foundational understanding of leadership through the lens of Bible doctrine, Spirit-led leadership, and self-awareness. Designed for emerging leaders, the course equips students with essential leadership principles rooted in Scripture. Through theological study and personal reflection, students will develop a solid framework for effective, Christ-centered leadership.
Module Outcomes:
By the end of this module, students will:
- Understand core Bible doctrines and their impact on leadership and ministry.
- Develop self-awareness as a key component of Spirit-led leadership.
- Apply biblical principles of leadership to ministry and personal growth.
- Explore the relationship between theology and practical leadership.
- Strengthen leadership skills through reflection, discussion, and application.

Cohort Gatherings:
Monthly 3-hour group meetings to either discuss leadership growth or mission trip preparation.
Coaching Meetings:
Monthly 1-hour leadership coaching sessions to either discuss leadership growth or mission trip support raising.
Scripture Memory:
Monthly Scripture memorization corresponding with course content and doctrinal support.

Intimacy with God | Module
Module Description:
This module is designed to deepen students’ relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, theological study, scripture interpretation, and practical ministry experience. Students will engage in personal and communal practices to grow in intimacy with Christ, culminating in a deeper understanding of Christ as our Sanctifier.
Missional Living | Module
Module Description:
This module equips students to live missionally in their everyday contexts by aligning their lives with the mission of God. Grounded in Scripture and key theological works, students will explore what it means to embody the Gospel in word and deed.
Disciple-making | Module
Module Description:
This module equips students with a biblical foundation and practical framework for disciple-making. Through Scripture, key readings, and hands-on practice, students will learn how to multiply disciples through intentional relationships, accountability, and spiritual growth. A key component of the course involves facilitating a Life Transformation Group, where students will apply disciple-making principles in real-life settings.
Kingdom Leadership | Module
Module Description:
This module examines organizational leadership and communication within ministry while exploring key theological doctrines: the Trinity, eschatology, and Christ our Coming King. Students will integrate biblical leadership principles, refine communication skills, and deepen theological understanding for effective ministry and mission.
Global Impact | Module
Module Description:
This module examines the principles of global evangelization, short-term missions in the modern era, cultural awareness, and an overseas missions trip, helping students experience God’s heart for the nations.
